ANNAPOLIS, Md.--Navy head football coach Brian Newberry released the names of the 2024 football recruiting class on Thursday as 72 prospects representing 23 states reported to the Naval Academy.
Texas produced the most recruits with 14, while Maryland, Ohio and Georgia produced six prospects each. Five plebes hail from Virginia.
Navy opens up the 2024 campaign with three-straight home games against Bucknell (8/31), Temple (9/7) and Memphis (9/21). The Mids also play host to Charlotte on Homecoming on Oct. 19 and Tulane on Nov. 16. The Mids play Notre Dame at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. on Oct. 26, while the annual Army-Navy Game presented by USAA is Dec. 14 at Commanders Stadium in Landover, Md.
