Kuroki (Tomodachi Game) (2024)

Kuroki is a major antagonist in the manga and anime series Tomodachi Game, serving as a major antagonist in 12th and last episode of the anime. He appears later on in the Prison Game of Friendship.

Appearance[]

During an accident, he had his face disfigured because of a car accident. During his true appearance in his encounter with Yuuichi Katagiri. He wore a Manabu mask on his face before taking it off, revealing the face of a middle-aged man with a smirking expression, white hair. He wore a pair of long golden earrings, two helix earrings on his left ear, one on his right ear, a red jacket with white fur and a three rings on his right hand. He had his tongue pierced in the middle with a stud. He was also a man of tall height and had a muscular build.

As a player of the Tomodachi Game’s prison game, he no longer wore his accessories and only wore a standard prison uniform with the number 004.

Personality[]

Kuroki is an extremely sad*stic and arrogant man that enjoys seeing others suffering and their fears. He sees himself as an intelligent man that. He thinks of this he is the leader of his group. During a game of Rock Paper Scissor against Katagiri Yuuichi however, appears to be concerned and nervous when he declares that he will lose his fingers if he loses. After his loss against Yuuichi, he gets irritated and refuses that he lost because Yuuichi played a trick on him. As Yuuichi tells him that he is allowed to have someone else to replace him for their fingers to be removed, Kuroki begs for anyone to do so only for everyone to give no answers. Tsukino later on explains to him that the game reveals three traits about him: he has no brain, no guts and that he easily betrays his friend.

Biography[]

Kuroki makes a call to Tenji Mikasa by phone in imitating Manabu’s voice while telling them that they will be hosting a “special“ Tomodachi Game. Knowing that Katagiri Yuuichi is also there, he threatens him by sending a picture of Yutori being tied, telling him he will have terrible time if he comes there, if not than Kokorogi will. He tells Yuuichi that he’ll play the Weak Win Game and then explain the rules. While still impersonating Manabu, Yuuichi asks him for their location. In responses ”Manabu“ warns Yuuichi that if he comes with someone else then Kokorogi will never see them again. Yuuichi upon arriving sees Kuroki in a Manabu mask before taking it off and introduce himself. He then explains the rules of the game a second time, but Yuuichi interrupts by saying that he won’t listen until they release Kokorogi. This causes, Kuroki to order the others to rip Kokorogi’s bra off revealing her chest. Yuuichi then furiously charges at him, but gets pointed with a knife under his chin by Kuroki and threatens him that he can expose his secrets that he never revealed to anyone. He explains again the rules of the game before starting the game with a countdown causing Kokorogi to be terrified. At the last second Yuuichi volunteers, leading him to be beaten up by one of the man of Kuroki’s group. Kuroki then declares that she will take the next round. Koruki congratulated her. Kokorogi’s hand is then placed on the table. He tells her that for her she will be receiving fingernail removal and that she can still switch with Yuuichi who will however have three fingernails to be removed. Kuroki makes his torture on Kokorogi with a plier. She asks Yuuichi in terror what to do while having her nail pulled and starts bleeding. Yuuichi then declares that he’ll take the next round and orders to do it. Kuroki does it as ordered. Yuuichi then asks the entire group, why someone like Kuroki is their leader. Kuroki answers that strength isn’t the important and that he is the smartest in this room before getting back into the game. He declares that the next round will be mixed up and that if Kokorogi volunteers, they will force her to dance naked. For Yuuichi, he will get stabbed three times in the hand and tells him that he will have a limited time of a minute to decide. At the last second Yuuichi declares to do it. Yuuichi screams in agony while having his hand getting stabbed in his second stab in the hand. Kuroki finally declares that this will conclude the Weak Win Game and that he is free to return home.

Yuuichi then tells Kuroki how he feels, it is not Kokorogi’s fault and declares that he will play a game of ”Rock Paper Fingers“ for a debt of 10 million yen, which shocks the entire group. Yuuichi explains that he can however only throw rock or paper and not scissor with his right hand, before soon after starting the game, but Kuroki stops Yuuichi. Yuuichi then mocks Kuroki for being afraid of playing and declares to his group that each member will receive a million each if their leader win. Kuroki is seen concerned as his allies are interacting in excitement and are being told to give support to him. Kuroki questions him what happens if they tie in their Rock Paper Scissors game. Yuuichi answers that he doubt it will ever happens. Kuroki then starts thinking about Yuuichi’s strategy and conclude that he thinks he can outsmart him at the game. As the game starts, Kuroki starts thinking that he will throw rock leading him to throw paper. However, is leaven in a surprise as Yuuichi throws scissors with his left hand (and not his right).

Kuroki grabs Yuuichi by the collar but gets headbutted. Yuuichi explains that he stated earlier that he is not allowed to throw scissor with his right hand but not his left. Furious, Kuroki orders his group to restrain Yuuichi to beat him up. But the conflict is however interrupted by Tsukino and the rest of the real management team of the Tomodachi Game, having numerous bodyguards entering the facility. Tsukino questions if Kuroki is the group’s leader and if he is the one impersonating the Tomodachi Game. Tenji then states that he was imitating Manabu’s voice but sounded weird. Tsukino walks toward Kuroki while telling him what happens when someone impersonates them. Yuuichi then asks him if he forgot his their promise, that he lost in their game of Rock Paper Scissors as he owns him five fingers. Tsukino decides to help Yuuchi by stepping on his hand to allow Yuuichi to cut off his fingers. Before starting, Yuuichi allows Kuroki to let any of his group to take his place for the torture. Kuroki the group to replace him only to get no responses. Kuroki begs to be forgiven. Tsukino however calm him down by telling him that Yuuichi had passed out (due to blood loss from his hand). After being put in a car, Kuroki declares that it is unfair that Yuuichi used a trick on him to win their game.
