Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix brings a rapper-heavy tie in season that harkens back to Chapter 2, but with a twist! Snoop Dogg has taken over The Agency, Ice Spice and Eminem can be found across the new map, and there's a Juice WRLD event on the way.

Given that this latest throwback season only lasts for a month, we're now hearing details on the next season of Fortnite. For now however, there's a whole new loot pool to try out, and a bunch of nostalgic skins to earn via the new Battle Pass. It's frequent updates like these that make Fortnite one of the best battle royale games around.

When does the current season of Fortnite end?

Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix will end on November 30, 2024. This is according to the main Battle Pass screen in-game. Generally, this has been pretty accurate in the past, but be aware that timings have been known to be tweaked slightly as the end of the season approaches. There's a finale event that'll air on November 30 at 2PM ET / 11AM PT / 6PM GMT, marking the end of the season.

It's worth noting that some previous seasons's timings shifted by a couple of days just before the new one was supposed to arrive, so timings here are always subject to change regarding downtime periods. The best place to keep up on specific updates closer to the launch of the new season is the Fortnite Status Twitter account. We'll be sure to keep this page up to date as well.

When is the next season of Fortnite?

The next season of Fortnite has yet to be fully detailed, but we expect it to launch on or around November 30, 2024. This is when Chapter 2 Remix ends, and based on how things worked last year, things will then switch over to the new season. We expect this to mark the start of a whole new chapter of Fortnite, with the first season having been revealed as Fortnite Hunters. This will see the game switch over to Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1.

What to expect from the next Fortnite season

Fortnite Chapter 2 remix is currently live until the end of the month. Beyond this point, we know that the next season of Fortnite will actually launch a whole new chapter. So far, we know that Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 is called Hunters, and will feature a Japanese theme. From the promo image that you can see above, there'll be a Godzilla tie-in at some point too.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix map changes

Now that Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix has launched, we can see how the map has changed. As you can see from the image above, this is a completely new map based on the one from Chapter 2. Iconic locales like Pleasant Park have returned, alongside remixed areas like The Doggpound. In general, this is a much simpler map to get around, with greenery and lots of water. The loot pool has been changed too, with the following weapons available:

Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix is adding new map POIs each week. The latest update dropped on November 21, 2024, and added the WRLD Point landmark, teasing the upcoming event.
